To make a rap song with your name, type it and a few details into the AI rap song generator and get free lyrics and a free song.
The AI writes lyrics that repeat the name. Pick a beat and a voice, then listen to the full song for free; your first song each day costs nothing.
Want a video too? Pick 15 seconds, upload one clear photo of the person and pay once ($9.90 per video). About 5 minutes later they rap their own song from the passenger seat of a car, lip-synced, in a vertical 9:16 MP4 with sound.
Why a song with a name works
A song with someone's name in it feels written for them, because it was. The best ones say the name again and again, especially in the chorus. They add details only that person would recognize: their job, their pet, the way they always order the same thing. That is what makes people send the song straight to the person it is about.
Step 1: Type the name and the details
Open the AI rap song generator and fill in:
- Who's rapping? The name, the way you want it sung: "Chloe", "Uncle Ray", "Big Mike".
- What's it about? Two or three specific details. "Best passenger, always picks the music, obsessed with iced coffee" works. "My friend" does not.
- Vibe: hype, funny, roast, love, birthday or Christmas.
Tap Write my lyrics. The AI writes a verse and a chorus with the name in them, usually several times. AI drafts are free, up to 30 a day.
Step 2: Make sure the name is right
The name is the whole point, so check it before making the song:
- Is it in the chorus? If not, edit a chorus line to include it. Keep the [Verse] and [Chorus] tags on their own lines.
- Does it rhyme? Short names rhyme easily. For a long name, use the nickname in the chorus and the full name once in the verse.
- Will the voice say it right? Unusual names are sometimes mispronounced. Spelling the name the way it sounds in the lyrics (for example "Shiv-awn" for Siobhan) usually helps.
Hand edits are unlimited. If you already wrote your own lyrics, choose I have my own lyrics and paste them.
Step 3: Pick a beat and a voice, then listen
Choose a beat (trap, boom bap, drill, pop rap, latin trap or comedy) and a voice (male or female), then tap Make my song. About a minute later the whole song plays in your browser, free, as many times as you like. Your first song each day is free; each video you buy adds 2 more songs, and a song pack adds 5. Once you have bought anything, you can download every song you make as an MP3.
Pop rap fits sweet songs, comedy fits roasts, trap fits hype. For more on beats and what you get from the song itself, see our AI rap song generator guide.
Step 4 (optional): Make the video of them rapping it
Hearing your name in a song is fun. Watching yourself rap it is better.
- Pick 15 seconds. The chorus with the name is almost always the right choice. Tap Play this part to check.
- Upload one photo of the person: face clearly visible, one person per photo, good light. JPG, PNG, WebP or iPhone HEIC, at least 300 pixels on each side. You need the right to use it: yourself, or an adult who agreed. No celebrities, no real rappers, no minors.
- Pick a scene: the passenger seat of a car, filmed like a phone on the dashboard, or a blue recording booth.
- Pay once with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a card, with no account. The video link is also emailed to you.
About 5 minutes later you get a 15-second, vertical 9:16 MP4 with sound, the song as the soundtrack and the lips in sync.
