Yes, with limits: on our AI rap song generator the lyrics and your first full song each day are free, with no account.
You get up to 30 AI drafts a day and unlimited hand edits, and you can play the free song in full. Downloading songs as MP3 needs any purchase, and a video of someone rapping the song is $9.90 per video. Other free AI music tools exist too, and each has its own catch. Here is exactly what you get for free, what you don't, and how the options compare.
What is free on GetRapVideo
| What | Free? |
|---|---|
| AI rap lyrics from a name, topic and vibe | Yes, up to 30 AI drafts a day |
| Editing the lyrics or pasting your own | Yes, unlimited |
| A full song with beat and AI vocals | Yes, your first song each day |
| More songs the same day | 2 more with each video you buy; a song pack adds 5 |
| Playing the whole song in the browser | Yes, as often as you like |
| MP3 download | After any purchase (a video, a video pack or the song pack) |
| A video of someone rapping 15 seconds | No: $9.90, or 3 videos for $19.90 |
So for one song a day, nothing costs anything. Come back tomorrow and you get another free song with a different name, beat or voice. Songs that fail to generate don't count against you, and songs you made today stay available to play.
What the free song sounds like
You type who the song is about and what to say, and pick a vibe (hype, funny, roast, love, birthday or Christmas). The AI writes a verse and a chorus, usually with the name repeated. Then you choose one of six beats (trap, boom bap, drill, pop rap, latin trap, comedy) and a male or female voice. About a minute later you hear a full original song, not a clip from a library and not a famous rapper's cloned voice.
Lyrics come out in English, Spanish, Portuguese or French, following the language of the site.
Why some parts are paid
Making a song costs us money every time, which is why the free song is one a day rather than unlimited. The video costs much more: it is made by a separate AI video model, and each 15-second clip has a real cost whether you keep it or not. Charging per video, once, keeps it simple: no subscription, no monthly plan to cancel.
The paid video is also a safety choice, since it needs a photo of a real person. We only allow yourself or adults who agreed, never celebrities, real rappers or minors.
Other free options
- Dedicated AI music apps (Suno and similar). Many offer some free credits for full songs in many genres, rap included. Usually you need an account, and free-tier songs may come with limits on how you can use them, so read each app's terms. Audio only.
- Free lyric generators. Text only: no beat and no voice. Fine if you plan to rap it yourself.
- Text-to-speech over a free beat. Free and fast, but it sounds like a robot reading, not rapping.
- Write and record it yourself. Free and the most personal option, if you can rap on beat.
| Lyric sites | AI music apps | GetRapVideo | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | Text, unlimited | Some credits, then a plan | Lyrics, plus one full song a day |
| Song | None | Full song | Full song, rap-focused |
| Name-focused lyrics | Sometimes | If you write them | Built in |
| Account | Usually not | Usually required | Not required |
| Video of someone rapping it | No | No | $9.90 per video |
Other apps change their free tiers often, so check their own pages.
When paying makes sense
If you only want to hear a funny song about your friend, the free song is enough. Pay when you want to keep or share it:
- Any purchase unlocks MP3 downloads for every song you make.
- The video turns 15 seconds of the song into a vertical 9:16 MP4 with sound. The person in your photo raps it from the passenger seat of a car or in a blue booth, lip-synced. Usually ready in about 5 minutes, also emailed to you; if it fails, its credits come back automatically.
