The "freestyle outside the club" trend is a wave of short, mostly AI-made videos in which someone freestyles outside a club at night while friends crowd in and film.
Most clips start from a single photo. The person raps in Spanish or English outside a club or venue, and a tight circle of friends laughs, leans in and films on phones and cameras. It took off on TikTok in early October 2026. The CapCut template behind many of the clips was created on October 7 and had about 1.51 million uses by October 26.
You can join with your own photo and an original song on our freestyle rap generator. The lyrics and the first song each day are free, and the video is $9.90.
Where it came from
The format copies real clips of Bulin 47, a Latin urban artist, freestyling among fans. He stands in the middle with people pressing in, phones and a camera inches from his face, and a beat playing from somewhere in the crowd. Creators then started putting their own faces, and often celebrities' faces, into that scene with AI photo-to-video tools and CapCut templates.
What we measured on October 25 and 26, 2026:
- CapCut template: the one titled just "Ai", created October 7, had 1,511,886 uses and about 5 million plays. It was still gaining roughly 16,000 to 28,000 uses a day in late October.
- TikTok: we tracked 97 videos of this format from 77 creators, with about 44 million views combined; 33 of them were posted in the last 7 days.
- Top clip: the most-viewed AI version we found had about 13.7 million views, posted October 9.
These are snapshots from our own research on those dates, not live numbers. GetRapVideo is not affiliated with TikTok, CapCut or Bulin 47.
What the videos look like
If you scroll through the trend, the same ingredients come back again and again:
- Handheld, close and shaky. It looks like a fan filmed it: the camera bumps, gets blocked by the back of someone's head, then finds the rapper again.
- Phones and cameras in the frame. A hand holding a phone, sometimes a camera with a big lens, right in the foreground.
- Red side light at night. The rapper's face is lit by a red or warm orange light from the side, with a dark street or club door behind. A second version swaps the street for a warm orange indoor lobby with a gold railing.
- Sunglasses and gold chains. The original look, copied in most remakes.
- A crowd that reacts. Friends laugh, lean in, put an arm on the rapper's shoulder.
- Bragging, self-introducing bars. "You know me, I'm…" style lines in Spanish over a dembow-style beat, often with a joke at the rapper's own expense.
Why people want their own version
The joke is the gap between who you are and how the video treats you. The quiet friend, the accountant or the grandma is suddenly mobbed like a star at the club door. It works as a flex, a birthday surprise or a group-chat joke, and it takes one photo.
The catch with most remakes
Many template versions reuse the original audio, so every clip has the same voice saying the same bars, and none of them are yours. Reusing someone else's recording can also get a post muted. Some remakes swap in celebrity faces, which raises consent and impersonation problems.
The GetRapVideo version
We built a version of the scene that keeps the feel and drops the borrowed parts:
- Your face, from one photo of yourself (or an adult friend who agreed; no celebrities, no real rappers, no minors).
- Your own bars, written by AI from your name and brags, free to edit, or pasted in yourself. See freestyle bars and examples.
- An original song with a beat and AI vocals, made for you and free to hear in full. We do not use the original clip's audio, Bulin 47's voice or any existing song.
- The scene: you in sunglasses, rapping into a mic outside a club at night under red light, friends hyping you up and filming on their phones.
- The video: 15 seconds, vertical 9:16, MP4 with sound, lip-synced, usually ready in about 5 minutes. $9.90 per video, no account or subscription.

FAQ
What is the song in the freestyle trend?
The original clips use the artist's own Spanish freestyle, recorded live with fans. We don't provide or use it; GetRapVideo makes an original song from your own lyrics instead.
Is this the same as the CapCut template?
No. The template animates your photo into the trend's scene, usually with the original audio. GetRapVideo writes your lyrics, makes your own song and then the video, and is not affiliated with CapCut.
Can I put a celebrity or a rapper in it?
No. Only photos of yourself or adults who agreed. Celebrities, real rappers and minors are not allowed.
Is the trend still going?
On October 26, 2026, new videos were still being posted every day and the template was still growing. Trends fade fast, but a freestyle clip with your own song and name doesn't depend on the trend's audio.
How much does it cost?
Lyrics and your first song each day are free. The video is $9.90, or 3 videos for $19.90.
