Partly. On our freestyle rap generator the lyrics and your first song each day are free, but the video of you rapping costs $9.90, paid once.
You get up to 30 AI drafts a day and unlimited hand edits, and you can hear the whole song. There is no free video, no free trial and no subscription. Only want bars on a screen? Plenty of free lyric generators exist. Want a finished clip with a song and your face? Every option costs money, time or both.

Why the video is paid
The song and the video come from two different AI models. The video is the expensive one: every 15-second clip costs us real money to generate, whether or not you like it. Charging per video keeps the price tied to what you make: no monthly plan to cancel, no credits that expire.
It is also a safety choice. Free, anonymous face tools attract people who upload strangers' photos. A paid checkout, plus the rule that you only upload yourself or an adult who agreed (never celebrities, real rappers or minors), keeps that down.
What the price includes
- A 15-second, vertical 9:16 MP4 with sound, ready for TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
- You in the scene: sunglasses on, rapping into a mic outside a club at night under red light, with friends hyping you and filming on their phones, lip-synced.
- Your own original song as the soundtrack, so you are not borrowing someone else's track.
- Delivery on the page and by email, usually in about 5 minutes, with no account.
- Automatic refunds of credits if a video fails, so you can make it again at no extra cost.
The free options, honestly
- Free rap lyric generators. Many sites write freestyle bars for free. You get text only: no beat, no voice, no video. Good for practice, and you can paste those bars into GetRapVideo too.
- Free beats and a phone. Find a free-to-use instrumental, write your bars, and film yourself. Free, but you need to rap on beat and edit it together.
- CapCut templates of the trend. Some are free to use. They usually reuse the original clip's audio and someone else's voice, which can get a post muted, and you do not get your own song. We are not affiliated with CapCut or TikTok.
- Free credits on general AI video apps. Some give a few credits on sign-up. You usually need an account, have to bring your own audio and write the scene yourself, and free clips often carry a watermark.
- Doing it for real. Go out with your friends, have one of them film you outside the venue, and freestyle. Completely free and the most authentic version there is. You just need the nerve and the bars.

FAQ
Is there a free trial for the video?
No. Lyrics and one song a day are free; each video is $9.90, paid once.
Do I need an account?
No. You can write, listen and pay as a guest with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a card. The video link is emailed to you.
Is the freestyle written by the AI really a freestyle?
Not in the strict sense: a true freestyle is made up live. The AI writes a verse in a freestyle style, which you can edit until it sounds like you.
What if my video fails?
Its credits come back automatically, and you can make it again at no extra cost.
How many songs can I make?
Your first song each day is free. Each video you buy adds 2 more songs, and a paid song pack adds 5 more. Songs that fail don't count.
