Good freestyle bars introduce you by name, brag about one or two real details, and land a rhyme at the end of every line.
The six original examples below follow that pattern, and you can use any of them as a starting point. Swap in your name and details, then paste them into the freestyle rap generator with "I have my own lyrics" to hear them as a full song for free. A video of you rapping them outside a club at night is $9.90.
We wrote every bar on this page ourselves. Use them freely for your own videos.
The pattern behind a freestyle that works
Viral street freestyles share one shape: a name drop ("you already know me, I'm…"), a quick brag, a bit of self-deprecating humor and a crowd that reacts. In 15 seconds you only have room for about four short lines, so every line has to do a job.
- Line 1: who you are. Your name, early.
- Line 2: one specific brag. Your job, your city, your skill.
- Line 3: a twist or a joke. Something that makes your friends laugh.
- Line 4: the name again, or a line the crowd could shout back.
6 original freestyle examples
Replace the names and details with your own. Keep the [Verse] and [Chorus] tags on their own lines when you paste.
1. The classic name drop
[Verse]
You already know me, it's Marcus at the door
Came for one drink, now I'm running the floor
Shades on at midnight, I don't need the sun
Whole block filming like I'm number one
[Chorus]
Marcus on the mic, let the red light hit
Marcus on the mic, and the crowd won't quit
2. The humble brag
[Verse]
Name is Tasha, I'm the calmest in the crew
Never lost a bet, never paid for my food
Phone at two percent but my bars at a hundred
Asked for one verse, now the line's got hundreds
3. The day-job flex
[Verse]
Night shift nurse, call me Danny on the ward
Twelve-hour shifts and I'm still not bored
Saved a life Tuesday, saved the party tonight
Scrubs in the locker, now I'm under the light
4. The crew shout-out
[Verse]
It's Leo with the squad, we came four deep
Jay brought the speaker, Nina brought the beat
Rico's on the camera, shaky hands, no tripod
Tonight we're the show, tomorrow we're the hot spot
5. The self-roast
[Verse]
They call me Big Sam, but I'm five foot four
Lost my keys twice, couldn't find the door
Can't dance at all, so I rap instead
Two left feet, but a crown on my head
6. Spanglish
[Verse]
Ya tú sabes quién soy, it's Valeria tonight
Lentes oscuros, under the red light
Del barrio pa'l mundo, my friends on the side
Valeria en la puerta, the whole city outside
How to make the bars sound like you
- Use details only your friends know. "Still owes Jay twenty bucks" lands harder than any generic brag.
- Keep lines short. Short, punchy lines are easier for the AI voice to deliver and lip-sync better in the video than very fast ones.
- Rhyme the last word, not every word. "Door / floor", "sun / one" is enough.
- Say your name at least twice. Once in the verse, once in the chorus, so it is in whatever 15 seconds you pick.
- Keep it friendly. Roast yourself, not other people. Real celebrities' names and slurs get blocked, and the bars are for posting with your face on them.
- Read it out loud. If you stumble over a line, the AI voice probably will too. Cut a syllable.
Or let the AI write them
Rather not write anything? Type your name and what to brag about, and the AI writes a freestyle verse and chorus for you, free (up to 30 AI drafts a day). Then edit the bars it gives you using the tips above. That mix of AI draft plus your own details usually gives the best result.
From bars to video
- Paste or write your bars, pick a beat (latin trap fits the outside-the-club look) and a voice, and make the song. Your first song each day is free.
- Listen to the whole thing and pick the 15 seconds the video should rap.
- Upload one clear photo of yourself and pay once. About 5 minutes later you get a 15-second, vertical 9:16 MP4 with sound.

FAQ
Can I use these bars in my own videos?
Yes. We wrote them for this page; use and change them however you like.
How many lines fit in a 15-second video?
Roughly four short lines, as in our sample videos. You pick which part of the longer song the video raps.
Can I use lyrics from a real rapper's freestyle?
Please don't. Copying someone else's lyrics or audio can get your post muted or taken down. Write your own or let the AI write original bars.
Do the bars have to rhyme?
Not every word, but rhyming the last word of each line makes a freestyle sound like a freestyle.
Can the AI write Spanish bars?
Yes. On the Spanish version of the site the lyrics come out in Spanish; you can also paste Spanglish bars like example 6.
