Partly. On Birthday Rap the lyrics and your first song each day are free; the video of someone rapping it costs $9.90, paid once.
The AI writes birthday lyrics with their name and age, up to 30 drafts a day, and hand edits are unlimited. You can make your first full song each day for free and listen to all of it. There is no subscription. We have not found a tool that makes a personalized birthday rap song and a lip-synced video completely free. The free alternatives below each have a catch.
What is free and what is not
| Step | Free? |
|---|---|
| AI birthday lyrics with their name, age and facts | Yes, and you can edit every line |
| Pasting your own lyrics | Yes |
| The full song with a beat and vocals | Yes, one a day; each video you buy adds 2 more songs |
| Listening to the whole song | Yes, as many times as you like |
| Picking the 15 seconds the video raps | Yes |
| The birthday rap video (15 s, 9:16, with sound) | No: $9.90, or 3 videos for $19.90 |
There is no free video, no free trial and no watermarked preview. The song is the preview: get the lyrics right, hear the whole thing, and only pay if you want it as a video.
Why the song is free and the video is not
The song and the video are made by two different AI models. Lyrics and songs are cheap enough for us to give away one a day so you can be sure before you spend anything. The video is the expensive part. The person in the photo raps your song with a crown on a balloon throne, lip-synced, and every 15-second clip costs real money to make. Paying per video keeps it simple: no monthly plan to cancel after the party.
The free options, honestly
- Ready-made birthday rap songs on YouTube or Spotify. Free to play, and there are plenty. The catch: they are not about your person. Most say "it's your birthday" to everyone, and some cycle through lists of names or dates hoping yours is in there.
- AI music apps with free credits. Song generators can make a birthday rap from a description, often with a few free credits. You usually need an account, you get audio only, and you should check each app's terms for how free-tier songs may be used.
- Free lyric generators. Plenty of sites write birthday rap lyrics for free, including ours. Lyrics alone are a text, not a song.
- Writing and recording it yourself. Free, and the most personal, if you can rap and do not mind filming it. Our happy birthday rap lyrics are free to copy as a starting point.
