Partly. On GetRapVideo, rap battle lyrics and one two-voice song a day are free, but the battle video costs $9.90 per video, paid once.
On the AI Rap Battle page you get up to 30 AI lyric drafts a day, unlimited hand edits, and your first battle song each day to make and hear in full. There is no subscription and no free trial. We haven't found any tool that makes a lip-synced, two-rapper battle video with an original song completely free.
Only want the words? Our diss track generator is free with no sign-up.

There is no free video, no watermarked preview clip and no free video credits. The song is the preview: you hear exactly what both rappers will say before you pay anything.
Why the video is not free
The video is the expensive part. One 15-second clip puts two characters in one shot, each lip-synced to their own verse. Every generation costs us real money, whether you like the result or not. Charging per video ties the price to what you actually make: no monthly plan to cancel and no credit packs that run out halfway.
There's also a safety reason. Free, anonymous face tools attract people who upload other people's photos without asking. A paid checkout, plus the rule that you only upload yourself (or an adult who agreed), keeps that down.
What the price includes
- One video with both rappers: you on the left, your rival on the right, each at a silver studio mic in a violet-and-teal booth.
- Turn-taking: you rap your verse while the rival reacts, the rival raps back, then you both rap the chorus, lip-synced.
- Two voices: you pick yours (male or female) and the rival raps in the other one.
- An original song written and made for you, not someone else's track.
- 15 seconds, vertical 9:16, with sound, delivered on the page and by email, usually in about 5 minutes.
- Automatic credit refunds if a video fails.
The free options, honestly
- Rap battle lyric generators. Several sites, including ours, write battle or diss lyrics for free. You get text only, and someone still has to rap it.
- AI music apps. Song generators such as Suno can make a rap track, often with a few free credits. You get audio, not a video. Check each app's terms for how free-tier songs may be used.
- Free credits on general AI video apps. Some give a few credits on sign-up. You usually need an account and your own audio. Getting two characters to rap in turn in one clip takes a lot of tries, and free clips often carry a watermark.
- Two separate videos edited together. Film yourself and a friend, or make two single-rapper videos, and cut them back to back in any editor. It's cheap or free, but it takes far longer, and the two halves never share one frame.
Prices and free tiers of other apps change often, so check their own pages.
How to get the most out of the free part
- Write the battle first. Draft until both verses have one killer line. Stuck? Borrow from these friendly diss track ideas.
- Try a different beat or voice tomorrow if today's free song isn't quite right. Songs you made today stay available.
- Pick 15 seconds where you both rap, like the switch into the comeback or the chorus.
- Making several? The 3-video bundle costs $19.90 instead of separate singles.
