To make your dog rap, type its name and complaints on the pet rap page, get free lyrics and a song, add one photo and pay once ($9.90 per video).
The page is called Cat Rapping, but it makes dogs rap too. About 5 minutes later your dog raps its own original song at a studio mic, lip-synced, in a 15-second, vertical 9:16 MP4 with sound. No app, no account.
People search for "dog rapping" about 390 times a month in the US, and most of what they find on TikTok under #dograp is real footage with a voice-over. This is different: your dog's own face, mouth moving on every word, in a recording studio.
Why dogs use the cat page
Cats and dogs run on the same effect. The scenes, the price and the steps are identical; only the photo changes. We have tested it with a French bulldog (the dog in our samples) and a golden retriever. In both videos the dog stayed a dog, with its own coat, ears and markings, and rapped with its own mouth. Dogs and cats with a clear face are what we support; other animals are not tested.
Step 1: Write your dog's verse (free)
On the pet rap page the vibe starts on Funny and the beat on Comedy, which suits most dogs. Fill in:
- Who's rapping? Your dog's name: "Biscuit", "Tank", "Lady Pickles".
- What's it about? Dog problems, as specific as you can: the mailman, bath day, the squirrel that got away, being told "off the couch", the vet's thermometer.
Tap Write my lyrics and the AI writes a verse and a chorus in your dog's voice. Edit any line; drafts are free up to 30 a day and hand edits are unlimited. To start from your own words, choose I have my own lyrics and paste something like this:
[Verse]
Biscuit in the booth and the mailman's scared
Twelve years of barking and he still ain't cared
Squirrel on the fence got me losing my mind
One day, little man, I'm gonna leave you behind
[Chorus]
Who's a good boy? Biscuit, that's who
Off the couch? Nah, the couch is mine too
Pick a beat (Comedy, trap, boom bap, drill, pop rap or latin trap) and a male or female voice, then tap Make my song · Free. About a minute later you can play the whole song. Your first song each day is free, and each video you buy adds 2 more songs. More ideas in funny pet rap lyrics; most of the jokes work for dogs with one word changed.
Step 2: Pick 15 seconds
Slide the selector to the part you want and tap Play this part. The chorus with your dog's name is the safest pick; a strong punchline ("Off the couch? Nah, the couch is mine") is the funniest.
Step 3: Add your dog's photo and pay
The photo decides how much the dog in the video looks like yours. For dogs in particular:
- Muzzle and mouth visible. No ball, stick or toy in the mouth; the AI needs to see the mouth to animate it.
- At your dog's eye level, not shot from far above, where the nose looks huge.
- Sitting still in daylight. Action shots at the park are usually blurred.
- One dog only. With two dogs in the picture, the wrong one may end up on the mic.
- Long fur over the eyes? Pick a photo where the eyes show.
The full list, with a table of photos that fail, is in the best photos for a cat or dog rapping video.
Choose a scene (Neon studio, Pink booth or Christmas booth), upload, and pay once with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a card. No subscription, no sign-up. The video starts by itself and the link is emailed to you too. If it fails, its credits come back automatically.
What the video looks like
In the Neon studio scene your dog wears big over-ear headphones and a backwards cap. It sits at a condenser mic with a round pop filter and raps to the camera under purple-pink neon, head bobbing on the beat. The song you made is the soundtrack. The file is a 15-second vertical MP4, ready for TikTok, Reels or Shorts.
FAQ
Does it work for every breed?
Any dog with a clear, front-facing photo should work. Flat or long faces are both fine as long as the mouth is visible.
Can my dog and I rap together?
Not on this page, where one pet raps per video. AI Duet takes two photos, people or pets, and gives each a verse with the chorus together.
Is a dog rapping video free?
No. The lyrics and your first song each day are free, so you can hear the full song first; the video costs $9.90.
Will my dog turn into a person or a cartoon?
No. The video keeps your dog's breed, colors and markings. Only the mouth, head and paws move with the rap.
